스탠다드 푸들

푸들(poodle)은 개의 품종 중 하나이며, 프랑스의 국견이다. 원산지는 독일이고, 프랑스 귀족 여성들에 의해 인기를 얻어 널리 번식 되었으며, 털이 길고 양털 모양으로 아름답다. 전에는 사냥개로, 또는 잡은 사냥감을 찾아오는 개로 이용됐지만 지금은 애완동물로 인기가 높다. 털은 흰색 또는 검은색, 회색, 갈색, 살구색이고 곱슬곱슬하다. "푸들"은 네 변종이있는데, 어깨의 높이로 구분한다.토이푸들의 체고(어깨높이)는 25cm 이하에 몸무게는 2~3kg이고, 미니어처푸들의 체고는 25~35cm에 몸무게는 3~6kg에다, 미디엄 푸들은 35~45cm에, 몸무게는 6~20kg(추측)이며, 스탠더드푸들의 체고는 38cm 이상에, 몸무게는 20~27kg이다. 푸들은 명랑하고 가벼운 몸으로 재주를 보여 주는 것을 좋아한다. 춤을 추는 듯한 걸음걸이와 예쁜 몸단장으로 세계 사람들의 사랑을 한 몸에 받고 있다. 푸들(Poodle)이란 이름은 "물장구를 치다" 라는 뜻의 pudeln에서 유래했다.

The poodle is a group of formal dog breeds, the Standard Poodle, Miniature Poodle and Toy Poodle. The origins of the poodles are still discussed with a dispute over whether the poodle descends from the old French Barbet breed or from Germany as a type of water dog, however at the creation of the standard, Germany officially recognised the Poodle as a dog originating from France.

Ranked second most intelligent dog breed just behind the Border Collie,[8] the poodle is skillful in many dog sports and activities, including agility, obedience, tracking to herding, circus performers or assistance dogs. Poodles have taken top honors in many conformation shows, including "Best in Show" at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show in 1991 and 2002, and at the World Dog Show in 2007 and 2010.

プードルは、水中回収犬、鳥獣猟犬や愛玩犬(ペット)として飼育される犬種である。古くからヨーロッパで広くみられ、特にフランスでの人気が高く、「フレンチ・プードル」と呼称されることもある。ジャパンケネルクラブ(JKC)では家庭犬、愛玩犬として分類されている。毛色はホワイト、ブラック、グレー、レッドをはじめとして様々なものがあり、また国際畜犬連盟（FCI）の定めによれば、大きさによって「トイ」、「ミニチュア」、「ミディアム」、「スタンダード」の4種類に分類される。一般に利口であり、ブリティッシュコロンビア大学の研究によると知能の高さにおいては全ての犬種のなかでボーダー・コリーに次ぐ第2位であるとされる。

스탠다드 푸들로 중형 푸들이라고 하는데 45에서 60센티에 15킬로 19킬로라고 한다. 하지만 푸들 중에 대형도 많다.

즉 돼지 푸들도 종종 보인다. 개인지 양인지 털을 관리하지 않으면 엄청 크다. 머리는 매우 비상하고 털이 빠지지 않아 인기

スタンダード・プードル （Standard）オリジナルサイズのプードル。もともとリトリーバーとして主人が撃ち落とした鳥を回収するのに使われていた。現在は介助犬としても活躍している。体高45 - 60cm、体重15 - 19kgの中型犬。
